I had thought of a sting or an abrasion that was swollen and all...then I opened up this illo I completed a couple of weeks ago and thought "swell, like an ocean swell," and it fit :)
Ah, it's the little things in life...
I've been knee deep in trying to get back into the swing of the school year. Summers are too short! We started Wednesday with a whole new bunch of Kindergartners! I've been whooped each night, falling asleep on the couch! Soooo tired...no time to draw or anything

Awesome Illustration, I really like the way you got the texture in there (for the sky and water, shadows etc) I really like this one. I'm surpeised this is the first time I've stumbled upon this site, I check Illustration Fridays site all the time. Keep it up!
