Illustration Friday: SPOOKY

I haven't gotten a chance to participate recently in IF...so I decided to finish this sketch I'd made earlier this week a bit differently than I normally do. Instead of my usual black lines, I decided to paint over my scan instead of keeping lines. I finished it using a dry brush for shading and making highlights. Halloween is my favorite holiday, so I hope you all will enjoy my "Not-So-Spooky-Raccoon" :)

I like this technique, Tracy, it has a lovely, creamy painterly feel.

I'm waving back to him, hi! I'd so give him candy if he came to my door.

Tracy, thank you for the encouraging words and thoughts that you have given me about my work. I really like this character and the colors you selected for him.

I also think it is awesome that you are a teacher and that you share your art and tallent with your students.
