This made me smile. I love your color choice, and the illustration is really fun and joyful. Extra points for not making the jack-in-the-box scary looking (those creepy clown faces, eek!) What a great drawing!
Hey Tracy, I remember you from the Midsouth Conference - and I remember your cute pink piggie too. This is my favorite style of yours. Mostly monochromatic with loose, energetic linework. Keep doing more of these! Hope to see you at the Midsouth Conference this Sept. -Kristi
I was just fooling around because lately the words on IF have been not the most inspiring... I feel we would be friends if we lived close to each other and you are the dearest person and a kindred spirit. Loss of any kind is hard but I knew you would come out of the pain shining through with your beautiful smile. You are strong and you will be happier in the long run now that you get to be you! Much love, valgal
I am a Kindergarten teacher with 2 sons, 1 cat, and 1 dog. I am a 2005 National Board Certified Teacher in Literacy (Reading-Language Arts/Early and Middle Childhood.) My childhood ambition was to become an artist...now I create little "works of art" for my Kindergarten students who LOVE it; they are my biggest fans.

Very cute, Tracy! I love the pig, the pink background, and the minimal color palette. Well done! And thanks for your comment on my blog!

Hi Tracy,
this is so cute! You have a gift for pigs, which I have trouble drawing. I also like the WORN characters...

Great wiggly jack in the box. Looks like it makes Piggy feel a little shaky when it pops out.
