Illustration Friday: Routine

Anytime a Mommy has a new baby, her entire routine gets all messed up!

Day 14...I thought I'd try some different brushes in Photoshop for this piece. Let me know your thoughts! :) (Been a long time since I've posted...school started 2 weeks ago, and I've been exhausted teaching Kindergartners how to line up, raise their hands, walk in the hall, get their lunch tray, say the pledge, get on the correct buses, not to mention anything academic! :) ) Thanks for stopping by.

This looks lovely, Tracy. I love the colors and the shading (and those polka dot socks!)
I don't understand much about Photoshop, but I think it looks great!

You've been very busy with school! You are such a dedicated teacher, I can tell... I hope soon things will fall back into a routine for you too. (Though I understand what you mean, September will be a very busy month for me and I have a feeling I won't be able to post as often as I wish!) :-)

LOVE it! I like the soft look and colors. Really tender and sweet. Oh boy, babies sure DO shake up a routine, don't they!

Wow, good luck setting up a routine with your kindergarteners. And thanks for the sweet comments on my blog. :)

Aww, they both look exhausted! But so CUTE at the same time too! hehe
I like that there are no black outlines. The colors work really well too. I need to tackle photoshop sometime... you are so good with it!

Good luck with the Kinders! Come to think of it, they're a bit like new babies... at school!

I got no idea about photoshop brushes, but I do like the result. Specially the texture of the background at the upper corner, so you probably did a good choice and (for sure) good work ;-)
