Illustration Friday: Moon

Here's a little witch girl that I drew a while back and now I had an excuse to work on her! I tried using different textures with this piece. Feel free to leave suggestions *helpful and nice, please :) so I don't cry* and/or comments! Thanks!

Illustration Friday--Discovery

While the other Easter elves were busily painting Easter eggs and weaving baskets in Mr. Cottontail's workshop, Hermietta cut out bunnybread men and suddenly made a DISCOVERY...She no longer wanted to be just an elf; she wanted to be a dentist!
Apologies to Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and gang and all fans! :) Click here--> RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER for really neat info!

Me ALA Simpsons!

This is me if I were a character in the Simpson's movie! Thanks to Doug of Jonesapalooza for the link to the cool Simpson website where you can make your own avatar! Click for the Simpsons Movie website. Sadly, this sort of resembles me, though I don't think my behind is that big! :)

Illustration Friday: Geeky

When I was little I LOVED to read all the time! My dad used to call me "bookworm" because I had to read everywhere! I guess I was a little geeky for being such a bookworm, but I loved reading and still do. :)
I'm not really happy with this piece, but thought I'd go on and post it anyway. I redid it using colored pencils then touching up digitally but still didn't like it. Out of the two choices, I preferred the all digital one most! One question I didn't think to ask anyone last week after posting my piggies doing the twist was: "What program do you prefer using and why?" I'm using a basic program that came with my Wacom, and I'm reluctant to blow a bunch of money on something that I'm not sure I'll like. (I am a teacher! i.e. VERY LITTLE MONEY!) Any insights would be greatly appreciated AGAIN :)
